It’s been a significant couple of weeks, filled with groundbreaking tech advancements, pivotal cross-chain data, invigorating community campaigns, innovative partnerships, and insightful AMAs.
Let’s dive into the exciting news from the past two weeks.
Key Technical Updates
🌀 Omnichain Connectivity
- Cosmos: 🚧 In the process of Tendermint to MAP Relay Chain cross-chain testing, stay tuned for more detailed updates!

Aiming to make it possible for dApp tokens to coexist on any chain and for users to transact without worrying about which chain they should be using, MRC-20 will empower seamless token interaction governed by trustless data cross-chain mechanisms, free from bridges or complex coding.
✅ Phase 1 completed: Users can deploy their MRC-20 token on the launchpad; furthermore, MRC-20 tokens deployed on multiple chains can connect with one another and become truly omnichain.
🚧 Phase 2 in the process: Omnichain MRC-20 blockchain explorer and launchpad toolsets are in development.
The projects and teams have been diligently working behind the scenes, laying the groundwork for several exciting developments that we believe will greatly benefit our community and contribute to the growth of the ecosystem. However, at this time, we regret to inform you that we are unable to disclose specific details regarding the projects.

Community AMA Recap in July
Apart from collaborative AMAs with other projects and friends, we also had our usual Community AMA in July where we unpack all the essential questions that community members raise. If you missed joining it live, you can read the recap to find out the updates.
MAP Protocol x Trust Wallet
MAP Protocol has established a strategic partnership with Trust Wallet. Under this partnership, Trust Wallet will leverage MAP Protocol’s light client and ZK-based omnichain technology, ushering users into a new era of seamless and trustless omnichain swapping.
MAP Protocol x NEAR Grant
MAP Protocol has been awarded a grant by NEAR Protocol. This recognition comes in the wake of MAP Protocol’s instrumental role in enabling asset cross-chain capabilities between NEAR Protocol, a non-EVM chain, and EVM chains through the construction of a trustless cross-chain bridge.
MAP Protocol x AiR
Hong Kong-based gamified loyalty platform AiR and omnichain layer MAP Protocol have announced a strategic partnership to jointly build a comprehensive loyalty gamification ecosystem for B2B and B2C purposes.
MAP Protocol x 852Web3
MAP Protocol has partnered with 852Web3, a community-driven ecosystem for 852 in HK. We will work closely to develop an omnichain NFT ticketing system for the 852Web3 ecosystem and the entire community, making 852Web3 the go-to omnichain application in Hong Kong.
